Applications
EHD is a method for atomization of liquids using an elctric field to disrupt the meniscus of a charged fluid. This novel method yeilds much smaller diameter droplets than are produced by other methods. In addition, the electric field used to create the nanodroplets can also be used to impart kinetic energy to the spray. EHD can be applied to a number of industries, including:
